Community Service and Court Assigned Hours
School-related Community Service Hours
If you need to complete community service hours for school or a local service organization, please contact our team for a potential volunteer project, but be sure to note that you need a record of your volunteer hours. HFHGCC will provide documentation after the successful completion of your hours.
Court-ordered Service Hours
HFHGCC and the ReStore work in cooperation with the Centre County Probation and Parole Department to provide opportunities for adults to fulfill their court-ordered community service requirements. Court-ordered community service at HFHGCC and the ReStore is scheduled through the Centre County Probation and Parole Department. Court-ordered volunteers must report on time on their assigned day or they will not be permitted to work. For safety reasons, volunteers must be appropriately dressed for inside or outside work, as needed, and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Failure to dress appropriately will also result in volunteers not being permitted to work. As well, HFHGCC does not accept all court-ordered offenses and reserves the right to not accept all interested volunteers.
