Every donation of goods helps a Centre County family build a decent and affordable home.
Donate your tax deductible goods to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County's ReStore to make a difference in our community. The ReStore raises proceeds for the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Centre County of building homes, communities, and hope by selling items donated to the ReStore by the community. Our mission not only ensures strong and stable families and communities but also actively helps reduce area landfill waste each year. You donations are also tax deductible! That benefits us all!

What Can You Donate?
The ReStore accepts new and gently used appliances, furniture, building materials and household goods from individuals and organizations in and around the community. The ReStore only accepts what it can sell. For a complete list of what we can and cannot accept, please review our acceptable donations list below.

How Do You Donate?
Donation drop off hours: Donations accepted Wednesday through Saturday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Please call ahead before donating large items to verify we have staff and volunteers available to assist with unloading at 814-353-2390 ext 3.
When dropping off a donation, please enter the store to speak with a staff person prior to unloading. We have staff and volunteers available to help you unload. Please keep in mind staff or volunteers have the right to refuse any donation not meeting our donation guidelines.

Pick Up Service:
HFHGCC ReStore offers FREE pick up donation service!
The ReStore requires all items intended for pick up donation to be in one central location outside, in a garage or on a ground floor location at the time of donation. All items must be ready for pickup and disassembled if needed. If you would like to schedule a pick up for your donation items, please contact us via email restore@habitatgcc.org or give us a call 814-353-2390.
Items We Can Accept
• Appliances (not older than 15 years) - Refrigerator, Freezer, Washing Machine, Dryer, Microwave, Range Hood, Oven (Electric), Range Top, Small Kitchen Appliances, Vintage or Antique: please contact the ReStore NOTE- we can no longer accept Gas appliances effective Jan 2020. We do not accept dishwashers.
• Storage & Organizational - Standing or Hanging Shelves, Storage Containers, Bubble Wrap, Tool Boxes, Coat Hooks, Wardrobes
• Cabinets - Kitchen & Bathroom cabinets in good condition, Cabinet Doors, Frames & Accessories, Vanities, Medicine Cabinets, Bathroom Storage
• Countertops - Granite <5ft, Quartz <5ft, Laminate <8ft (no water damage or mold). We do not accept pieces with sink cutouts or L-shapes unless part of a cabinet set being donated.
• Lumber (over 4 ft. in length) - No nails or water damage. Pine or Softwood, Hardwood, Pressure Treated, Decking, Plywood, Composite Decking, Barn Wood, Fencing, Balusters, Structural,
• Doors - Exterior, Solid Interior, Raised Panel Hollow Core
• Trim & Moldings (no nails or damage) - Baseboard, Crown Molding, Decorative Moldings, Columns, Handrails - All nails must be removed
• Electrical - Check before donating light fixtures - we don't accept ceiling fans and have limited storage to accept lighting. Electrical Panel Boxes, Outlet Covers, Outlet Boxes, Electrical Wire, Light Fixtures, Lamps, Light Fixture Parts
• Roofing - Full bundles of shingles in original packaging, Adhesives, Gutters, Ceiling Tiles
• ***TEMPORARY HOLD ON ALL TILE FLOORING*** Flooring - Unused, in original packaging. Minimum 40sq ft. Solid Wood, Laminate Floating Floor, Vinyl Rolls or Planks etc. Area Rugs. Adhesive Tile, Marble, Slate, Glass or Other Specialty Tile, Grout
• Heating & Cooling - Electric Fireplaces, Mantels Surrounds & Accessories, Air Conditioners, Fans, Duct Work, Unused Insulation, Foam Board
• Furniture - Coffee Tables, Side Tables, Book Shelves, Kitchen Tables, High Quality Desks, Dressers, Chairs, School Desks, Work Tables, Filing Cabinets, Antique & Vintage Furniture, Furniture Parts, Upholstered items free of stains, tears, and damage. WE DO NOT ACCEPT: Entertainment Centers or Beds (Head and Footboards, Frames or Mattresses/Box Springs)
• Plumbing - Kitchen Sinks, Low-flow Toilets, Bath Tubs, Showers - clean in good condition, Repair parts, Unused PVC pipe & fittings, Copper, Black Iron, or Steel Pipe, Shower/Bath Faucets (not kitchen), Bathroom Vanity - must include sink top and cabinet, Towel Bars & Other Bathroom Hardware
• Hardware - Door Hardware, Cabinet, Structural, Brackets, HVAC, Castors, Shelving Hardware
• Seasonal Decor - Holiday Wreaths, Wall Hangings, Lights, Ornaments, Craft Kits, Yard Decorations, Gift Supplies, Christmas Trees
• Fasteners - NO RUST Nails, Screws, Bolts, Nuts, Washers, Staples, Rivets - please sort prior to donating
• Seasonal Supplies - Gardening, Winterizing, Fall Cleanup
• Home Decor - Picture Frames, Wall Hangings, Clean Rugs, Decorative Home Accents, New Craft Supplies, Framed Mirrors, Home Improvement Magazines & Books
• Paint - Latex only; no rust on cans. FULL - 3/4 full containers not older than 5 years of Paint, Caulk, & Adhesives, Paint Tools & Accessories; Gallon or qt accepted. No 5 gal buckets
• Windows (seals intact) - NEW WINDOWS ONLY Double-hung, Storm Windows
• Tools - All Power Tools (battery must charge), Hand Tools, Tool Accessories, Garden Tools, Industrial Tools, Tool Storage, Antique Tools
